Notes from Client:This is not a DevOps Engineer role- Don’t submit DevOps profiles.This is Pure Cloud Engineer role (Key Skills to look for AWS, Terraform, IAM)Rate: $80/hr CAD.Senior Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in designing large scale event driven systems using AWS event bridge as an orchestration layer.Needs to have experience with the following AWS technologies:Skills: AWS Event Bridge, Terraform, S3, Dynamo, IAM, AWS Cloudwatch
- AWS Event Bridge
- Pipes from AWS resources that provide them (S3, Dynamo, etc)
- Event Schemas
- Event Rules
- IAM Policies and Roles
- Alarms
- Cloudwatch queries and reporting
- Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Elasticsearch
- Firehose
- SNS
- SQS
- Jenkins experience a plus.
JD:
- 8+ years’ experience performing IT related roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with application deployment, setup and configuration on public cloud services
- Must possess an advanced engineering knowledge of Public Cloud Services including: Monitoring, Access, Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Configuration, and Database services
- Experience designing, developing, deploying, testing in public cloud architecture
- Research, design, analyze, and modify Cloud-based Enterprise-wide systems and application software.
- Support the planning of system deployment and infra configuration to meet industry and corporate compliance standards.
- Evaluate operational requirements and provide solutions to support software development in a DevOps environment.
- Solid background and understanding of SQL and NoSql data stores
Additional Comments:AWS (Infrastructure and Services) Terraform for IaC Serverless & Container Support the US region in CST hours
