**Our client, a Big 5 Bank, is currently looking to hire for Credit Card Banking Advisors to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This is a hybrid role, where the candidate is expected to work in office 1x time per week.
You are a Cards advisor, the banks ambassador and an exceptional customer service representative. You champion the Banks brand and provide support to our clients as they will interact with us in very different ways; whether it is by phone, email, chat, video, social media or mobile. This is a full time and shift oriented role that provides the flexibility and opportunity to work from home on a hybrid model.
• Taking 50-60 inbound calls per shift from existing Credit card clients to deliver an outstanding customer service experience, making every client interaction an exceptional one
• Provide assistance with any questions or concerns regarding their credit cards. Examples: Balance checks, limit increases/decreases, authorized users, fraudulent transactions, etc.)
• Focus on helping clients when they need us most, by responding empathetically to a variety of questions, assisting with a myriad of banking solutions and resolving client concerns at first point of contact
• Contribute to team results by supporting all colleagues to be successful in meeting client needs
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one team
• Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests
• Educate and assist clients with using digital capabilities (how to navigate the app, online banking, etc.)
• Lead with empathy and apologize for delays with wait times
• Client experience, servicing clients, fulfil immediate need and identify additional opportunities available to the client
• Strictly dealing with credit cards, understand the product itself and help with interest calculations and how its captured, review transactions, identify any fraudulent transactions, what are the benefits of the card I have, how do I redeem my points
• Critical thinking and dive into transactions and take care of simple fraud requests
Qualifications:
Fluent in English: Bilingualism in Cantonese OR Mandarin a bonus
1 year+ of fast paced customer service experience (For English candidates: Minimum 6 months of Canadian call center experience required) for candidates who are bilingual in Mandarin OR cantonese, any customer service experience (Including retail or fast-food) is encouraged to apply.
Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
Experience working in a team and metrics-based performance environment
Minimum education requirements: High school
Work Environment: Call center is open between Monday – Sunday 3am – 12am PST. Candidates will work an 7.5 hour shift 5 times a week. (Must be open to work between 3am – 12am PST Monday – Sunday)
Virtual Training – 12 weeks, same availability as above
Hybrid model to follow (2/month and could increase to 1/week in office)
Duration: 6 month contract to start with opportunity of extension OR conversion to permanent
Pay: $24/hr (English)
Pay: $25/hr (English/Cantonese OR English/Mandarin)

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $25.00/hr.
