Job description
Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Bilingual Operations Officer to join our client.Contract Dates: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $26 per hour
Business Hours: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Job Responsibilities:
- 100% phone call-based work – speaking with internal partners (branch reps), government agencies and merchants
- Processing status updates on files – money-in department – Supporting nationwide both English and French
- Core accountabilities include:
- Passion for and outstanding customer service skills
- Desire to resolve branches concerns using a Can-Do attitude.
- Phenomenal teammate & able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Advocate change by demonstrating flexibility and constructively support process improvement in the business/department as they occur.
- More of a call center environment
- Internal support team (rarely talk to customers if at all)
- Dealing with any kind of support or banking issues
- Ability to verify
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and French) – read, write, speak
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) in both French and English
- Active listening skills are essential
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) and MS Suites – Basic Call Centre Experience /Customer Service experience – 1+ yrs – Phone customer service (phone etiquette)

- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Resourceful, finding information, using tools provided effectively, inquisitive, strong problem-solving skills
