Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.Introduction: Prime Hires is seeking a skilled Bilingual Project Coordinator to join our client.Contract Period: 8 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $45 per hour
Location: LMontreal, QC
Location Type: Hybrid: Onsite three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PMJob Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Update project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are on track and deadlines are met.
  • Assist in resource allocation and ensure that project resources are being used efficiently.

Communication and Meetings:

  • Schedule and organize meetings, both internal and with external stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes and follow-up actions.
  • Communicate project updates and status reports to stakeholders and management.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project charters, plans, and risk logs.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on project progress, budget status, and resource utilization.

Risk and Issue Management:

  • Monitor project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate the resolution of issues by coordinating with relevant team members and stakeholders.

Support and Administration:

  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including organizing files and documents.
  • Handle logistics for project-related travel, events, and workshops.

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

  • 5 years project management experience of transformational projects
  • 5 years of experience within capital markets or investment management
  • 5 years of experience in a global distributed company
  • 5 years with large scale projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders
  • Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
