Trainer: National Retailnment Sampling Program

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainer to support our sampling program in large retail stores. This role is ideal for someone passionate about training, organization, and ensuring the success of product demonstrations in-store. As a Trainer, you will play a key role in ensuring samplers are effectively onboarded, well-trained, and equipped with the tools they need to execute engaging sampling experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Development:

  • Create comprehensive and easy-to-follow training information sheets for in-store samplers, outlining key processes, best practices, and expectations.

  • Update training materials weekly to reflect changes in products, recipes, or processes.

  • Visual and Operational Support:

  • Take and organize photos of test kitchens and in-store setups to provide visual aids for samplers.

  • Assist in testing recipes in our sample kitchen, noting the preparation instructions to ensure consistency and quality across all sampling stations.

Program Monitoring:

  • Conduct regular check-ins with samplers to address questions, provide feedback, and maintain program standards.

  • Monitor compliance with safety, preparation, and presentation guidelines.

  • Work with Regional Managers and Team Leads to ensure everyone understands training going into the weekend

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Manage and maintain training records, ensuring all samplers are up-to-date with their Food Safety Training requirements.

  • Compile reports on training completion and overall program outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to create clear, concise, and visually appealing training materials.

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and recipe development (experience in a kitchen environment is a plus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online training tools.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a retail or customer-facing role.

  • Previous experience with training or coaching others.

  • Knowledge of marketing or sampling programs is a bonus but not required.
