Your Opportunity

Stantec invites you to apply for the Co-op Student role based in our Vancouver, BC office.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)

• Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussions

• Reviews and reports on project mock-ups

• Performs periodic site visits and utilizes a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items

• Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)

• Assists in small project management and coordination

• Assists in building condition assessments, concrete restoration, and building enclosure-related projects

• Participates in continuing education

• Performs various office-related tasks

• Must have a valid driver’s license

Education and Experience

• Working towards Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field

• General knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.

Salary Range(s):

• Lower Mainland $22.74 Per Hour – Lower Mainland $31.21 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
