- Utilize analytical tools including Power BI to provide data driven insights and prepare management reports and presentations that contain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of moderate to advanced complexity
- Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses of business performance to assist in business development and decision making
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes. A significant focus is placed on continuous innovation – utilizing analytical tools to provide data driven insights
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
- Develop and document processes, while incorporating business intelligence best practices
- Maintain a solid understanding of business intelligence systems used to support analysis and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis
- Participate in and contribute to MNP’s budgeting process
- Contribute to the high performance and collaborative culture of the team, and demonstrate leadership potential
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related disciplines
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience gathering requirements, developing reports, and preparing business and financial analysis
- Experience working with Power BI, Power Platform, and preparing data models
- Intermediate to advanced system application skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and be self organized
- Proactive, flexible, dependable and solution oriented
- Professional services industry experience and completion of, or working towards a CPA designation are considered assets
