Join Our Team as Business Line Manager at Epiroc!Work Type: HybridResponsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety and well/being of self and team
- Act as a role model and ambassador in relation to the company’s values and our code of conduct
- Act as an ambassador for our aftermarket business wherever possible
- Drive growth of the underground capital business in both key underground market segments: mining and construction
- Sell more of what existing customers already buy from us (increase loyalty/share of wallet)
- Develop relationships and establish sales with new customers (customer white spots)
- Sell new products to existing customers (product white spots)
- Work closely with the Customer Center sales personnel
- Oversee and drive the rental business, working with the stakeholders, internal and indirect channel partners for the North America Market.
- Develop strategies, ensure profitability, and manage the rental inventory.
- Support the National Sales Manager to Develop of a highly efficient and effective territory management plan for the Underground business, with coverage and knowledge of the various segments that enable us to respond quickly to changes in market conditions or requirements.
- Develop new and strengthen existing Epiroc underground customer relations to ensure that Epiroc is seen as the preferred supplier for underground capital equipment, as well as creating and strengthening relations with civil engineering and mining subcontractors working abroad
- Drive strong price realization through sales price management and using an effective value based selling approach
- Ensure stability and predictability in business results, including:
- Accurate monthly forecasting and reporting as required by Epiroc (CC or Underground division)
- Improving (shortening) payment terms locally managed deals
- Iranted by market needs, focus on the development and maintenance of an underground rental “floor plan”, as agreed (with UMR)
- You will need to support/ provide the following: Monthly reports, business cooking, Orders Received, Orders Invoiced, Lost orders, forecasting equipment, Market shares, Territory Management.
- Act as a single point of contact regarding the Order to Delivery process between division and CC team(s), coordinating with the PC Sales Support teams and the CC teams as needed to ensure current and accurate information in both directions
- Development of strong relationships with Divisional team at all levels of the organization
- Develop customer quotations according to agreed Price Build Up (PBUs), mitigate free-of-change items, review terms and conditions for local contracts (in partnership with division Commercial team and/or local legal team)
- Accounts receivable management for underground capital invoicing
- Continuously develop personal understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of Epiroc’s underground capital offering, with a strong focus on new technologies
- Work collaboratively across the customer relationship matrix, including the Epiroc Global Customer Relationship Team, Customer Success Team, and the U/G Global Key Customer Managers
Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the aftermarket equipment, parts, and services field, preferably within the mining or construction industries.Strong mechanical and technical background, essential for troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis with customers.Solid understanding of basic and intermediate financial statements and calculations.Proven ability to work in complex, interdisciplinary, cross-functional, and global teams.Experience working across different cultures with respect and adaptability.Background in construction or mining environments is considered an asset.Familiarity with commercial documentation and contract interpretation is an advantage.Knowledge of Epiroc’s Parts and Services Division product line and/or competitor equipment is a plus.Strong and proven sales track record, with experience in sales strategy development.Demonstrated ability to build trust and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive process optimization.A data-driven approach to decision-making and planning.Experience presenting to and influencing stakeholders, with excellent public speaking and communication skills.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.Highly motivated, hands-on, enthusiastic, and committed to achieving results with integrity and without compromising safety or business sustainability.Ability to work independently or as part of an integrated team, as needed.Language SkillsNative-level fluency in English, both written and spoken.Proficiency in French is considered an asset.Mindset & Personal AttributesA safety-first mindset and a strong sense of collaboration.Respect for all people and cultures.Proactive and organized, with a strong planning mentality.Capable of inspiring and engaging teams to drive results and continuous improvement.MobilityWillingness and availability to travel up to 30% of the time to customer sites and Epiroc locations across Canada.Join us, and be part of a diverse, electrifying, innovative and highly collaborative team!
