Job Title: – Business Operations Coordinator(Mandarin required)

Job type: – Permanent, Full Time

Pay: – CA$54,000

Job Description: –

  • Assist to implement, manage and monitor (quality control) in the day-to-day logistics projects in various locations in Canada (not just Toronto).
  • Be part of the team to act as the focal point for the logistics project customers in the daily communications and receive their feedbacks and updates for service performance and on-going business changes and needs.
  • Build and maintain good rapport and relationship with all internal and external parties, including customers, sub-contractors, 3PLs, warehouse operators and trucking companies, regarding operational activities and assist to resolve any service issues that arise.
  • Engage with head office IT team and local IT sub-contractor to monitor data quality of IT related systems.
  • Prepare various reports for external and internal use as per the instruction by the Business Operations Manager.
  • Act as the indoor sales support and make proactive communications with external and internal parties for on-going business development in logistics and/or international freight.
  • Assist to prepare quotations as per guidance from Business Operations Manager for external and international submission.
  • Receive on-going updates in logistics and international freight markets of Canada and other global markets as per guideline from Business Operations Manager.
  • Perform any ad hoc projects and tasks as per assigned by the Business Operations Manager.

Requirements: –

  • 2 to 3 years of working experience the relevant industry. Candidates with hands-on experience in a 3PL/logistics/warehouse environment is a pre-requisite.
  • Effective communications & listening skills (verbal & written).
  • Capable in negotiation and conflict management.
  • Excellent in customer service with the ability to anticipate and identify customers’ needs, and escalate to the company for further reviews and discussions.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English & Chinese.
  • Must be capable in Microsoft Office Suite.
