Come share your passion with us!The role we are offering you:By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of developing leading edge training devices for pilots and aircrew for both civil aviation and defence and security, contributing to the safety of aviation worldwide.Avionics systems – systems used for flight management and processing of information displayed to pilots (navigation, automatic pilot, flight and system parameters, flight plan, and fault management)Onboard systems – Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, environmental control of the passenger cabin, communication and alert systemsPerformance systems – Aerodynamics, engines, flight controls, simulator motion control, sound simulationAre you ready to:Investigate and resolve all the deficiencies identified during the validation phase.Review and analyse technical documentation from aircraft manufacturers.Integration of the simulated models, along with real aircraft components into a training deviceConfigurations of interfaces between the simulation environment and the hardware components.Write test procedures to validate the functionality of the systemsDevelop simulation models for systems, following the Agile methodology.Our ideal candidate has:Knowledge of C and C++ programming languages is essential.Knowledge of other object-oriented languages is an asset.Good interpersonal skills and team playerLeadership qualitiesOrganization and time management skillsBilingual (French, English) is essentialPreferred EducationPursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably electrical, mechanical, aeronautical, software or computer-relatedLocation of the internship is CAE Montreal.Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
