[CA HQ] Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, Product & Procurement

HelloFresh is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Product & Procurement FP&A team, focusing on the expense side of the P&L. The candidate will work cross-functionally to analyze financial results and highlight key drivers. They will be responsible for developing methodologies, dashboards, and models from both a budget and a forecasting perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable financial models or reports that align and simplify weekly & monthly business reviews, annual planning, quarterly budgeting and monthly/weekly forecasting processes.
  • Act as intermediary for all finance related questions from Procurement, Product, & Sustainability teams.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Cost Reporting teams on a variety of initiatives, including but not limited to the monthly close process & weekly business reviews.
  • Investigate month over month variances and follow up with business functions within the organization on the variances to gather fact-based insights and trends.
  • Have data analytic discussions in business review meetings with cross-functional business stakeholders, senior management and business managers.
  • Complete ad hoc financial modeling and analysis.
  • Leverage knowledge of HelloFresh organization and work closely with the Business Intelligence team to streamline and build standardized planning and reporting models using Tableau and KNIME.

At a minimum, you have…

  • 4+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • 4 year degree in finance, related business field or equivalent directly related work experience required
  • Deep understanding of Cost of Sales P&L buildup and cost center structures
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience in financial modeling, experience with ERP system (Oracle, SAP, Business Objects) is a plus
  • Experience building workflows and dashboards in Alteryx, Tableau, or Knime or experience in SQL or python required.
  • Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning a plus.
  • Experience within the CPG industry or other subscription based businesses
