Are you a technical product specialist looking for a contract role with a strong likelihood of extension? This role might be a good fit for you.In this role as a Technical Product Specialist, you’ll be responsible for providing timely and accurate drawings, materials information, engineering, pre and post shipment product support (technical , application, etc.) for Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Services for the Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure division. In this role, you will review incoming orders during the approval process to ensure all necessary equipment is being provided.Advantages

Monday to Friday – 40 hours per weekResponsibilities
Review incoming orders for the accuracy of design.
Support the commercial aspects of the order, including discussions with customers to approve/revise drawings and provide documentation packages.
Handle product configuration.
Prepare approval, construction, and as-built drawings.
Maintain customer drawings on the company system folder, incorporating any customer changes.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or College Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3 years of electrical engineering or technologist experience.
Minimum of 3 years of AutoCAD electrical experience.Preferred Skills:
Understanding and experience using and interpreting the Canadian Electrical Code.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Electrical.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Summary
