We are seeking a Channel Marketing Manager – Commercial, based at our North American headquarters in Milton ON, to join the ROCKWOOL Marketing Team. This position reports to our Director of Marketing & Branding, N.A. and requires frequent travel of up to 30% across North America. The Commercial Channel Marketing Manager is the conduit between our customers and sales team, collaborating directly with our partners to develop programs that drive relationships and sales growth.What You Will Be DoingThe ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing manager who is data-driven and entrepreneurial. The Commercial Channel Marketing Manager owns the commercialization of all trade & architecturally focused activities in the GSD, Specialty, and Insulation distribution channels. This role will have special focus on creating, building, and supporting commercial general contractors through our contractor engagement platform and the wider architectural community through our technical leadership and authority strategy. This role will work together with Commercial Key Account Managers to ensure marketing efforts align with sales targets – collaborating on strategy, planning and execution.

  • Coordinate and implement brand, communication, and product marketing strategies within the channel. This Includes consumer & professional hardlines retailers, distributor & commercial sales accounts, and system partners.
  • Own all stakeholder and channel content on our digital platforms and any third-party sites. This includes General/Subcontractors, Commercial Distributors, Architects, Specifiers, and all other members along the commercial sales value chain.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver engaging webinar content, including topic selection, speaker and event coordination, and post-event analysis to ensure audience engagement and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in customer meetings and reviews, as representative of the Marketing and Business Development team.
  • Develop annual advertising/media plans with agencies that support the channel and marketing of our brand, products, and key messaging.
  • Create and support social media plans and our content calendar with our Digital Marketing Manager. This plan should be customized to channel stakeholders and leverage messaging from GMC and our advertising & PR initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales targets by product, channel, customer, quarter, and monthly reports on how marketing efforts are driving or contributing to achieving those targets.
  • Provide input to the Product Management team on new product development efforts. Support Product Manager business plans, providing insights where applicable, and participating where required in the new product development process.
  • Coordinate and implement the development of training materials & tools with fellow Marketing team members, Product Management, Technical, & Building Science Teams.
  • Execute regional trade show initiatives and support national trade show efforts, participating in both and where possible, engaging with targeted audiences directly.
  • Manage the internal review by Corporate Legal, Technical & Building Science Teams for all marketing materials (both literature & tools) developed.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience executing in Marketing and/or Sales roles
  • Business Degree (master’s degree an asset)
  • Experience working within the building materials industry is key
  • Excellent organizational and data-driven analytical skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders
  • High proficiency with digital marketing tools (Marketo, Google Data Studio, Dynamics CRM, Adobe creative cloud)
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
  • Comfortable learning and teaching technical concepts
  • High proficiency with MS Office, SAP, CRM software and MS Teams for virtual communication
