What you’ll do:As the Commercial Director you will support analysis and decisions for all commercial aspects of Viasat products to ensure effectiveness in the market and estimates of all future budgets planning including satellite capacity and planning and yield analysis for Viasat value added re-sellers including SATCOM Direct, Colling and Honeywell. The day-to-day:You will provide analysis of monthly revenue performance and market narrative per product for this performance. You will also be responsible for the planning and executing of all strategic commercial initiatives and product changes in primarily a wholesale environment as well as leading the development of risk-based management of market activities. Additionally you will review and approve market-facing deliverables and tools to enable channel sales in addition to developing processes, tools, material and non-material solutions in business aviation which affect the wholesale partner experience. What you’ll need:

• 5+ years’ experience in mobile SATCOM for airborne customers
• Prior experience with Viasat and/or legacy Inmarsat products and services
• Proven business aviation experience in developing and executing strategy with respect to pricing, products, positioning, partners
• Ability to build complex sensitivity models in Microsoft Excel that incorporate internal and external data
• Proven experience with Tableau
• Demonstrated experience with pricing and data analysis
• Validated experience in program and risk management
• Experience commercializing product offerings into a variety of market sectors
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent experience
• Valid Work Permit or Visa for the country you would be located and working from
• Ability to travel up to 25% both domestic and international

• Proven experience using Python or other data retrieval languages to synthesize data from multiple sources
• Experience translating complex technical data into presentation for executive audiences
• Experience influencing the definition of processes external to your authority but necessary for the execution of your objectives
