The stage has been set for Women’s to accelerate our priorities and capture the momentum to catapult our system forward to revolutionize healthcare for everyone.Applicants must reside and be legally eligible to work in Ontario.Job DescriptionThis is a part-time temporary position, funded through a grant received from the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN)The successful candidate for this position will function as the Community Research and Leadership Coordinator (CRLC) of TWIRI, for the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN)-funded project, “Towards Intersectional Inclusive Health Systems: Understanding and Addressing STBBI and Gender-affirming Healthcare Disparities in Ontario’s Trans and Gender Diverse (TGD) Population”.The aims of the project are to use principles of intersectionality, gender-affirmation, and community-based research to better understand HIV/STBBI risk, prevalence, prevention, and care uptake, as well as access to gender affirmation among trans and gender diverse people. This position will work closely with the Nominated Principal Applicant (Dr. Ashley Lacombe-Duncan), Co-Principal Applicants, Research Leads, and community members. The candidate will be essential in collecting and sharing perspectives of trans women and gender diverse people living with or affected by HIV/STBBIs. This work will require community research coordination, peer leadership and advocacy, and relationship development, which may evolve as the project progresses.The ideal candidate will be preferred to have experience in community-based research, peer leadership and support, and comfort with a highly independent work environment as well as a team environment. Experience in harm reduction settings is also an asset.Summary of Duties, but not limited to:Community Research Coordination
