Responsibilities

What your days look like as a Senior Tax Advisor:

  • Supervise the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance in Canada;
  • Manage transfer pricing documentation and international tax matters;
  • Develop and implement tax optimization strategies, including for treasury operations and tax credits;
  • Improve and automate tax processes through technological tools;
  • Advise senior management in strategic decision-marking;
  • Coordinate tax audits and defend the company’s tax positions.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Senior Tax Advisor you must have:

  • Chartered Professional Accountants (“CPA”) designation or bachelor’s degree in law (“LL.B) with tax experience;
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant tax experience;
  • Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm (an asset);
  • The ability to communicate in French and English.
