Consumer Product and Small Ag Sales Representative

Agriterra Equipment is one of North America’s largest AGCO dealers. Representing exceptional brands, including Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Bourgault, Morris, and Cub Cadet. Agriterra is also an authorized sales and service centre for CAT agricultural products including skid steers, wheel loaders, and telehandlers. We are looking for an exceptional Consumer Product and Small Ag Sales Representative to join our team in Stony Plain, AB. This position will be based in the branch, focusing on sales administration and servicing walk-in customer with a main focus on Consumer Products . This position is a great learning ground for those interested in a career in the Agriculture and Compact Equipment business.

What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?

• This position will focus on understanding our customers needs to identify and present equipment solutions ranging from lawn and garden equipment and compact tractors to Caterpillar compact construction equipment

• Develop customer relationships and maintain contact with them

• Organizing shipping and traffic documents of equipment entering or leaving our yards

• Pricing equipment for customers and team members

• Delivery and operating instruction of products sold to customers

• Product demonstrations to showcase our equipment capabilities and quality

• Staying up to date with training and sales features of our product lines

What are we looking for?

• Sales or operating experience with agriculture, lawn and garden or construction equipment

• An exceptional ability to create and maintain relationships with clients by understanding customer needs and identifying solutions

• Understanding and experience with computer programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook

• Great negotiation skills

• Highly motivated, looking for a career in our business
