Overview:We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist for our client in the banking sector on a 6-month hybrid contract with a possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in content development, brand alignment, and digital storytelling across web, social, and email channels. This is a hands-on role requiring strong writing skills, strategic thinking, and an understanding of performance metrics to guide content decisions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that support business and marketing objectivesCreate and optimize content for web, social media, and email campaignsEnsure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelinesUse analytics and performance data to refine and improve content effectivenessMaintain and manage editorial calendars to ensure timely content deliveryCollaborate cross-functionally with designers, developers, and marketing teams to support campaign execution6 months durationLocation: Toronto, Canada ( Hybrid / occasionally working on site)Qualifications:6+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or editorial rolesStrong knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager) and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics)Proven experience managing editorial calendars and analyzing content performanceSkilled in creating multi-format content (e.g., articles, email, social copy, web pages)Excellent communication and copywriting skills with strong attention to detailBonus Skills:Basic design/editing capabilities using tools like Canva or FigmaExperience working in regulated industries or with financial services clients
