WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN INSTRUCTOR:
OUR PROCESS:Step 1 – Apply online to show your interest. We encourage you to include a cover letter describing your interest in this career, your passion for specific aspects of the position, and any relatable experience that will help you succeed. Our Talent Scouts will review your submission then start the formal recruitment process.Step 2 – Successful candidates will then receive paid training to become licensed driving instructors. This includes four classroom (in-person or virtual) instruction sessions; 20 hours of hands-on training with a Senior Instructor using an AMA vehicle; practice exams and all self-study training materials.Step 3 – After training is complete, we’ll mutually determine your readiness for the written and practical examination to acquire your Provincial Vehicle Instructor licence from Alberta Transportation.Step 4 – Once you’ve acquired your licence, we’ll help you get started with setting up your small business. This is when you’ll need the following:
Step 5 – Finally, you’ll train on our internal systems to get comfortable scheduling lessons, communicating progress with students and their parents, completing payroll, and using our training material.SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
