If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Contractor – Engineering to join our team located in Mississauga, ON. Responsibilities:Your Role:As a Contractor – Engineering, you will for provide engineering services to RCPC and will be working with a team in the improvement of existing production lines as well as the development of new lines. This is a one-year contract.You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!
- Create purchase requisitions as needed for the engineering and maintenance department
- Provide competent and timely engineering to the RCPC operations team.
- Develop sound practical solutions to equipment related production and process problems in order to meet sales, marketing and production objectives
- Ensure all equipment meets Company safety and governmental codes and regulations, and that all projects are carried out using Company and legislated safety practices
- Maintain the facility and warehouse layout and create new layouts for the evaluation of production line changes
- Assist the maintenance department through the streamlining of the spare parts crib, spare part identification and PM scheduling
- Creating equipment SOPs for the purpose of improving the operations department knowledge base and streamlining the repair/changeover process.
Ultimately, you will also provide general engineering support for the production environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant. Requirements:We need you to have:
- BS degree in Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Icing on the cake:
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Hands-on experiences with any of the trades or manufacturing.
