Scopee:

Ciena NPI Test Engineering Team is looking for a dynamic Coop Student, who like software and hardware, to contribute to the introduction of New Ciena Platform Products.

The successful candidate, under the supervision of a NPI Test Engineer, will participate in Test development, prototype testing/debugging and station design/assembly.

Responsibilities:

Depending on the life cycle of the product, the candidate will:

  • Participate in the design/Assembly of Test Station
  • Participate in the development of Test Sequences/cases
  • Help validating Test cases on Prototypes
  • Help Debugging prototype units,
  • Help Documenting Test station, Test Sequences & debug procedures.

Education:

  • Enrolled in bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Experiences & skills

  • Software coding skills (C, C#, Python, RegEx, etc…)
  • Excellent Electronics knowledge and debugging skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Great communications skills.

Job Type: Full Time

Job Location: Ciena Ottawa (Office/Lab Environment)

Durations: Looking for at least 2 Terms (8 months), with possibility of extension.
