Corporate Human Resources Internship / Co-Op

Summary

We are currently seeking a Full Time Corporate HR Coop to join our team. As a member of the Corporate Human Resources Team, the Corporate HR Co-op will play an integral role in managing company initiatives and assist the HR team with providing HR support to the company. The Corporate HR Co-op will collaborate with the Canadian and US HR teams to coordinate and communicate HR initiatives, document HR best practices and processes, and assist the Corporate HR Team where needed.

When you join us, you will:

  • Work with the HR team to understand and document HR best practices and processes.

  • Assist the Corporate HR Team with administrative HR tasks.

  • Coordinate HR activities by applying recognized methodologies and ensuring compliance with HR principles.

  • Maintain and update HR documentation, databases and files;

  • Assisting in on-boarding employees and maintaining employee records.

  • Coordinates recognition and social activities and other events designed to increase interaction with employees.

  • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

  • Other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate would be:

  • Working towards a post-secondary degree or diploma in the field of Human Resources

  • 1 or more years in an administrative role

  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Highly organized, able to juggle competing priorities and adopt a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Work Schedule:

Hours of work will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Location:

Suite 200, 1900 Minnesota Court, Mississauga, ON

Duration:

January 6, 2025 to April 25, 2025.
