Topics typically include seawater properties, sea ice, air-sea interaction, seafloor topography, large-scale ocean circulation, waves, tides, physical control of biological processes, the role of oceans in climate, and impact of human activities.Job Description:

  • Prepare formal lectures and lead class discussions on the topics of seawater properties, wind-driven and geostrophic ocean circulations, and possibly on ocean biogeochemistry and climate change related topics.
  • Administer tests and examinations in conformity with McGill regulations.
  • Mark assignments and tests and submit final grades online using McGill systems.

Class lectures are 3 hours a week for 13 weeks per term. (06-Jan-2025 to 11-Apr-2025)WF 01:05 pm-02:25 pm ENGMC 13Qualifications:
