It will foster critical thinking and nurture lifelong global understanding, active engagement and participation in relation to questions of social, economic, and environmental justice, by infusing these issues in the classroom.Course Credits: 3Course schedule: MW, 08:35am to 09:55amLocation: EDUC 216Contract value: 3-credit course renumeration ($9625.00)Number of positions available: 1This course is not Team taught.Teaching Qualification Requirements:Education:Master educator with an MA in a relevant field (i.e., curriculum studies, educational foundations – philosophy, sociology, and history of education, critical pedagogy, comparative education) and extensive relevant experience as a school educator/pedagogue/community educator/ NGO organizer and educator)PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset.Experience:1. Expert knowledge of:Global education issuesSocial justice issues in educationFoundational issues in educationContemporary issues in educationComparative education2. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level3.
