Issues range from language variation and social attitudes to conversational analysis and cross-cultural communication.Course Credits: 3CRN: 2421Schedule & location: Fridays 02:35pm-05:25pm, EDUC 629Contract value: 3-credit course renumeration ($9625.00)Number of positions available: 1This course is not Team taught.Education1. A Master’s degree in Second Language Education or related area (in exceptional circumstances applicants without a Master’s degree but with significant research or professional experience related to the course content may be considered).2. Expert knowledge of course content as represented in current eCalendar description, including:social and cultural dimensions of language, language use and second language learning and teachinglanguage variation and changesocial attitudes toward languageconversational analysis and cross-cultural communication3. PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an assetExperience1. Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP)2. Familiarity with the 13 professional competencies specified by the Quebec Ministère de l’Éducation3.
