Preference will be given to the qualified applicant with the most priority points.GSFS 306 Queer Theory
Examines the emergence of queer theory in the context of major social movements and key bodies of theory such as women of color feminisms, poststructuralism, performativity, affect and psychoanalysis. Engages with contemporary queer critiques such as queer of colour, transnational, and Indigenous perspectives.Teaching Qualification Requirements:

  • A completed PhD Degree or enrolled in a doctoral program in a discipline related to the course;
  • Teaching experience in related courses at the university level preferred;
  • Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:05 am – 11:25 am from January 6th, 2025 – April 11th, 2025
