Explores Indigenous feminisms in historical and contemporary contexts, with a critical focus on the tensions between feminist and Indigenous epistemologies. The relationships between feminisms, settler-colonialism, nation-building, and Indigenous social justice struggles will be emphasized.Teaching Qualification Requirements:
- A completed PhD Degree or enrolled in a doctoral program in a discipline related to the course;
- Teaching experience in related courses at the university level preferred;
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.
Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:35 pm – 3:55 pm from January 6th, 2025 – April 11th, 2025
