Title: Senior Manager – Creative Services & Donor Impact

Employee Working Location: Partially Virtual / Hybrid (Canada)

Employment Status: Temporary Full-time (14 Months)

In this role, you will

  • Develop, implement and measure of creative products, donor impact stories, stewardship materials and multimedia assets and ensure they align with organizational goals and objectives

  • Oversee components of philanthropy operations, compliance, and quality ensuring outputs align with CRC brand standards, messaging guidance and humanitarian values

  • Develop and maintain relationships with fundraising channel leads, marketing, web development and Relationship Managers to support fundraising efforts.

  • Set team performance and development objectives, establish workplans, monitor performance, resolve conflict and provide coaching and feedback.

  • Contribute to unit operational, budget and workforce planning and support ongoing monitoring and reporting.

  • Identify, plan, design and adjust service standards, methods and processes to continuously improve and respond to current and future needs.

  • Communicate and influence work methods, processes, service delivery, and change amongst team and with stakeholders within own department and other departments/service lines.

  • Participate in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning initiatives to ensure a robust pipeline of talent.

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and manage risks within their area of responsibility

What we are looking for :

  • Minimum of 6-9 years of experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree in business, marketing, philanthropy, nonprofit management, community engagement or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • CFRE or other relevant professional certifications are an asset.

  • Requires expertise in a specialized discipline or broad experience across fields, along with an understanding of interconnections between processes and business units to provide effective leadership.

  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and inspire, motivate and engage teams to achieve program objectives.

  • Proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite), fundraising software and databases and the ability to utilize data to inform fundraising initiatives.

  • Strong strategic planning, project management, and budgeting skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex strategies and initiatives.

  • Communication and influencing skills to synthesize diverse and sometimes conflicting perspectives and find mutually beneficial solutions, often in sensitive or complex situations

Working Conditions :

  • Requires significant attention to detail and concentration and ability to mentally process large amounts of information.

  • The work pace is often unpredictable with significant time pressures.

  • Ability to adapt to frequent and often urgent changes in priorities, and make decisions under pressure, work at an unpredictable pace.

  • Work requires the ability to work to deadlines.
