Title: Senior Project Manager – People Services
Employee Working Location: Partially Virtual / Hybrid within Canada
Employment Status: Temporary Full-time (12 Months)

In this role, you will:
- Define project objectives, scope, and execution of the HumaniT roadmap which is a technology platform in support of CRCvolunteers and in alignment with strategic organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets, managing dependencies and critical paths.
- Lead project execution or guide process in support of service lines or team accountable for program, ensuring deliverables meet scope, timeline, and financial targets.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with proactive contingency planning.
- Manage scope changes, assess impacts, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment, issue resolution, and decision-making.
- Oversee change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, project management standards, and organizational policies.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 6-9 years experience and a 3-year college diploma or university degree in project management, business administration or similar and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires expertise in a specialized discipline or broad experience across fields, along with an understanding of interconnections between processes and business units.
- Project management institute (PMI) certification or equivalent is required.
- Advanced skills in project management tools and methodologies across the full project cycle.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and executing on change management plans to ensure user adoption and sustainment of project outcomes
- Ability to facilitate multiple stakeholders to achieve consensus, issue resolution, and decisions on complex issues with conflicting perspectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint and project management information systems (Jira, Microsoft Planner, Project Operations, etc.).
- Communication and influence skills to gather perspectives, understand needs, and present information to reach consensus, often in somewhat sensitive situations.
- Ability to identify and assess potential risks that may affect project outcomes by developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of risks.
- Fluency in English is required; French is an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to adapt to frequent and often urgent changes in priorities, and make decisions under pressure, work at an unpredictable pace.
- Work will be conducted in an office-like setting and may require travel to safe locations, limited exposure to adverse conditions.
- In a large-scale emergency, where staff numbers are compromised or additional resources are required provide disaster relief and/or emergency field operational support.
