The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering foundation level course (1404: Writing about Images) that fall primarily into General Education’s Cluster-Four, “Communications”. We are especially interested in a qualified candidate with a well-developed understanding of liberal education in general and able to identify and address key debates under the Cluster’s thematic orientation.The delivers the General Education programme within all of Mount Royal’s baccalaureate degrees. The General Education programme is organized around four thematic clusters. These courses focus on the development of an undergraduate level of proficiency in written and oral communication across a range of media. They further facilitate the development of a capacity for critical reflection upon various communication media and their uses. This cluster of courses also provides the opportunity for study in languages other than English.Since opening its doors in 1910, Mount Royal has embraced change in order to meet the needs of the students and the community it serves. • Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Humanities or a closely related field (such as English, visual arts, cultural studies, rhetoric/composition, or media/film studies). However, an MA will also be considered .
