Read and interpret engineering drawings.
CAD design and layout with Creo and Microstation tools.
Provide engineering support for manufacturing teams with manufacturing and design issues.
Find solutions to complex problems.
Suggest and lead improvements in our processes, products and tools.
Prepare and present technical analysis reports.
Must be able to actively participate in an environment with multiple stakeholders and functions.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent or a technique in a related field.
5 or more years of experience in the field.
Experience in an Andon support environment a major asset.
Mechanical knowledge for design and drawing.
Knowledge of Creo and 2D Microstation CAD tools.
Knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
Holding an engineer’s license (ing.) and being a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) (asset).Summary
