This Part Time (0.875 FTE) Night position offers a unique schedule with plenty of consecutive days off to explore the stunning Pacific Northwest.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform all routine and specialized CT procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

  • May be assigned to work as a Radiology Technologist.

  • Integrate previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records to optimize exam.

  • Perform most appropriate examination based on patient information through consultation with interpreting physician and/or ordering physician as necessary.

  • Provide patient education and instruction prior to and after examination. Provide training/education to staff and students as indicated.

  • Demonstrate ability to adapt exam to address problems of patient care as they arise making decisions to appropriately resolve problems.

  • Operate CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.

  • Apply ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.

  • Perform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A Radiologic Technology degree from an accredited school

  • At least 1 year of CT experience (strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated venipuncture competency

  • ARRT – R required at hire. Advanced CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

  • Washington state Radiologic Technologist licensure

  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
