This Part Time (0.875 FTE) Night position offers a unique schedule with plenty of consecutive days off to explore the stunning Pacific Northwest.

Competitive Compensation: the salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is$41.11 – $61.71. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

In this role, you will:
-
Perform all routine and specialized CT procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

May be assigned to work as a Radiology Technologist.

Integrate previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history, and medical records to optimize exam.

Perform most appropriate examination based on patient information through consultation with interpreting physician and/or ordering physician as necessary.

Provide patient education and instruction prior to and after examination. Provide training/education to staff and students as indicated.

Demonstrate ability to adapt exam to address problems of patient care as they arise making decisions to appropriately resolve problems.

Operate CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.

Apply ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluate patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.

Perform interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.
We’re looking for someone with:

A Radiologic Technology degree from an accredited school
-
At least 1 year of CT experience (strongly preferred).

Demonstrated venipuncture competency
-
ARRT – R required at hire. Advanced CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Washington state Radiologic Technologist licensure
-
Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
