The student will be working with Professor Salyzyn and OJEN (Ontario Justice Education Network) to help prepare this year’s Apps for Justice spring challenge. This is a program for Ontario High School students. The student will be engaged in various tasks including assisting with an overview of the legal topic, helping to develop program materials and liaising with legal/community partners to ensure delivery of the program in Spring 2025. The commitment required is approximately 5 hours a week (December 2024 excepted). ** All applications should include a cover letter , a CV, the student’s most recent law school/University transcript and the name of at least one academic reference**Minimum Qualifications:The student applying for this position must be currently enrolled in a JD or graduate program at the Faculty of Law. Applications must include: (1) the student’s most recent transcript; (2) a cover letter indicating the student’s experience with academic research and writing, as well as the student’s interest in legal ethics/professional responsibility; (3) most recent transcript and (4) the name and contact information of one academic reference. The student should have a demonstrated interest in access to justice and/or technological solutions to meet the public’s access to justice needs.
