Introduction to descriptive statistics and to the main steps inherent in quantitative research, such as data gathering, measurement scales, measures of dispersion and of central tendencies, probability, sampling techniques. Practice of elementary techniques of analysis with dataset software: association measurement, test of hypothesis, regression analysis, bivariate and multivariate analyses, correlation. Multimethods approach.Nature of work:Marking of papers and exams. The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor.Requirements:Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.Please note that the teaching method will be delivered in the following format (in person).
