This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the organization while gaining hands-on experience in the fields of sales and business analysis.Job DescriptionAs a critical member of the Hershey Canada sales team, the CSE will be responsible for profitably growing Hershey Canada’s business with Food East customers while delivering our overall corporate assigned objectives & targets (including gross sales, net sales, market share and profit contribution). The CSE will also be responsible for managing the monthly ‘Hot List’ process, which allows us to liquidate short-coded product.You will…Work cross functionally to develop and deliver high impact sales presentations to our top tier customers.Possess the ability to assess data, identify opportunities and translate information into actionable selling proposals at accounts.Actively be involved in sales forecasting and sales planning.Manage customer promotional and merchandising strategies.Coordinate with marketing teams and cross functional partners to ensure new business opportunities are aligned with Hershey brand strategies.Focus on achieving appropriate permanent distribution, identification and placement of display opportunities as well as executing a comprehensive promotional calendar.Establish and communicate priorities for the retail organization to win in stores.Skills, Knowledge and Education RequirementsTeamwork/Collaboration; ability to develop strong cross functional working relationships.Forward-thinking and ability to challenge the status quo.Elite selling and negotiation skillsStrong sales presentation skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrategic leadership, with excellent customer relationship skills & experienceAbility to translate data and strategy into a selling story.Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently.Detail oriented and ability to multi-taskStrong desire for personal and professional developmentAbove average knowledge of Microsoft office software (PowerPoint and Excel, mandatory)Above average knowledge of AC Nielsen with ability to analyze and interpret data.Bachelor’s degree required.5+ year’s progressive sales experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods or related capacityPrevious experience within the Snack Food category, with sound knowledge of the Canadian retail landscapeLeadership Competencies:Business Acumen: Understands how a CPG business works including how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
