The Customer Representative will report to the Commercial Manager. This position interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Order entry and invoicing
  • Sales contract entry
  • Receive IDT shipments into inventory
  • Oversee A/R and A/P
  • Supply export documentation for export shipments
  • Enter new vendors into MDM Hub
  • Records management and general office administration
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or necessary exchanges
  • Assist with Payroll for hourly employees
  • Enter in daily production and correct book-to-physical errors
  • Make month-end inventory reconciliations
  • Grain settlements
  • Feed transactions
  • Record retention
  • Filing
  • Additional duties as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Education or Work Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative

Health and Safety

  • Follow ADM health and safety standard and report all unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor
  • Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
