Job description

You will join a high performing team of DBAs on a diverse range of projects. Work on the team is customer focused with an on-call support component to ensure we deliver on our customer-first commitment. Responsibilities include database tuning, implementing and testing upgrades and patches, and defining backup and recovery strategies. You will develop documentation, provide technical support and resolve incidents and performance problems. By collaborating with other teams you will design and deliver quality, innovative solutions for our customers.Must-Have Skills
1. Expert knowledge on Oracle 12.x for Windows and PostgreSQL v14 and above
2 Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
3. Technical proficiency in monitoring, tuning and optimizing database performanceNice-to-Have Skills
1. Cloud-native databases (AWS RDS, GCP CloudSQL)
2. Experience in at least one programming or scripting language
3. Health Industry experienceYou are:

• A team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
• Able to handle pressure and act quickly to deliver results
• Willing and able to learn new technologies on the fly
• Effective in investigating, analyzing and solving problems
• Skilled in managing/coordinating small projects

You have:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge and expertise on Oracle V12C (Windows) and PostgreSQL
• Solid experience troubleshooting and resolving database issues (performance, integrity, recovery, security)
• Proven skills in monitoring, tuning and optimizing database performance (tools such as Datadog, OEM, Check_MK)
• Experience designing database solutions for new products

Great-to-haves

• Cloud-native databases (AWS RDS, GCP CloudSQL)
• MySQL
• MS SQL Server
• Experience in at least one programming or scripting language
• Health Industry experience
