Bureau Veritas is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our environmental laboratory in Saint-Laurent, QC.
Your main responsibilities are:
-
To provide pick up and or delivery services for parcels, samples, bottle orders, mail, etc. to and from various customer locations or sites;
-
Loading and unloading of client coolers in company vehicle to and from the customer’s office or sampling site;
-
Maintain good client relations;
-
Work responsibly with minimal supervision;
-
Maintain assigned vehicle clean and in proper working order;
-
All deliveries and pickups must be done as scheduled to respect client’s requests and maintain client satisfaction;
-
All pickups must be delivered to laboratory in the shortest delay to meet client’s deadlines;
-
Working with customer service group- bottle preparation, sample entry and project managers to provide client with very good service in the shortest delay;
-
Report to bottle preparation team for pickup and delivery schedule;
-
Assist in the preparation and shipment of sampling containers to clients in an organized, professional and time efficient manner;
-
Follow the Standard Operating Procedure established by Bureau Veritas for the preparation of bottle orders;
-
Maintenance and organization of the back warehouse section;
-
Adhere to and participate with all quality assurance policies and procedures of the organization;

Maintain employee file up to date.
You are an ideal candidate if you:
-
Have a high school diploma;
-
Have 1 year of experience in a similar role;
-
Valid Quebec Driver’s License (class 5);
-
Are knowledgeable of the routes in Montreal and it surroundings;
-
Are proficient in French (English is an asset);
-
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Work conditions:
-
Schedule : Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM;
-
Needs to be available for overtime when needed;
-
Driving skills, capacity to handle long hours in traffic;
-
Ability to lift coolers/boxes, up to 50lbs.
