Story Behind the Need:

• Business group: Client Engineering – Mobile and Web – part of the bank’s Digital Group, focusing on Mobile Web application to all customers. Our team is designed to deliver products throughout the client’s journey; UI platform.
• Project: We’re looking for a talented and passionate Full Stack Developer to join our team for the TSYS program. Our team is designed to deliver products throughout the client’s journey. You will be part of a team of enthusiastic engineers building front-end web applications in this role. You will have opportunities to work with all stakeholders to design best-in-class technology solutions.

Typical Day in Role:

• Current on industry best practice and secure coding
• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain different applications
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
• Work with Delivery Leads and BSA’s to articulate efforts and compile estimates
• Expert level experience in the following technologies: Java / ReactJS / NodeJS
• Deep knowledge of Web Development, Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Cloud Application Development.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise grade software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Tech stack: Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, and Cloud Applications
• Full stack role will be 50/50 front end and back-end

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years’ progressive working experience, with 4+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer
• 5+ years of progressive experience working in the IT industry in roles like developer and team lead
• 2+ years’ recent project experience with ReactJS
• 2+ years’ recent project experience with NodeJS
• Recent experience with enterprise environment

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Experience with bank Digital Factory
• Experience with Orion/Constellation (similar environment and tech stack)
• Experience with Cloud applications
• Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise grade software
• Experience from FI/banking

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

Best vs Average:

• Needs a resource to hit the road running and have strong experience with the same ecosystem than used by this team.
• Digital Factory or Orion Experience would be auto-shortlists as long as they’ve used the requested tech stack.

Degrees or certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required

Candidate Review & Selection:

• Structure and Format:

o 1st round: 1 hour with Tech Lead and HM – MS Teams Video Interview – technical questions and live coding with ReactJS/NodeJS
