We are the Service Management Technology (SMT) team under Global Enterprise Technology (GET). We utilize the ServiceNow tool to provide the enterprise ticketing system supporting the bank’s tracking of incident/problem/change management; service requests; asset management & configuration management etc.
Project: ServiceNow Transformation Program is to enable all the ServiceNow applications like Incident, Problem, Change, Release, CMDB etc. in a new instance with utilizing and sticking to Out of the Box features and avoid customizations. This will enable quicker upgrades, maximum utilization of OOTB features and meet regulatory requirements.

Candidate Value Proposition:
The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. – JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, REST and SOAP Integrations) to support business requirements on the Service Now platform.
Typical Day in Role:
Analyse highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
10+ years’ of experience required as an IT developer.
Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end
Hands on experience in working on the Service Now platform ITSM Modules (i.e. Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Knowledge, Service Operations Workspace etc.
Hands on experience in working on the Service Now platform as a developer using ACL’s, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Rest and SOAP.
Overall- 3-7 years of JavaScript and ServiceNow development
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
Experience in Agile/Waterfall in large organization is preferred.
ServiceNow CAD Certification, Service now ITSM Implementation specialist certification is an asset
Soft Skills Required:
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to analyse complex situations.
Ability to present to stakeholders.
Is a good team player.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or experience in the related field
ServiceNow admin, ITIL, training or certification
Best VS. Average Candidate:
ServiceNow CAD or ITSM specialisation certification is great to have. Experience in ServiceNow for more than 5 years and has worked on ServiceNow transformation project.
