Closing Date: 08/03/2025Job SummaryProvide strategic leadership in the area of Municipal Finance by directing the Finance Division to ensure the long-term financial health of the City in the delivery of the City’s strategic plan and provision of municipal services. Fulfill the statutory requirements of the Deputy Treasurer as defined in the Municipal Act. Work with the Commissioner, Corporate services, CFO & Treasurer on the City’s budget and business planning process and provide direction on the City’s long-term financial plans and strategies. Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, financial risk management strategies, investment and debt management policies, and oversee all accounting functions. Represent the City on financial matters at Council, other agencies/organizations and public meetings. Lead the Finance Division to ensure quality financial services are provided to support the delivery of all City Services.Duties and Responsibilities

Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 185,671.00 – $ 247,562.00
Hours of Work: 35 – Hybrid office environment with regular attendance at City Hall as per City policy (onsite presence 3 days a week)
Work Location: Civic Centre – 300 City Centre Drive
