If you have a passion for performance, value a collegial and collaborative culture, and approach work with the highest integrity, invest your career here.Job DescriptionReporting the Managing Director of Learning & Development, the Director, Learning and Development will work with global internal and external partners and SMEs to identify the needs, design, develop and deliver integrated global learning programs and solutions.The Director will incorporate best practice learning approaches, systems/technology and measurement to lead the learning strategy and roadmap to enable our people to deliver exceptional results.Role-Specific Accountabilities:

  • Manages, leads, develops, and coaches a team of learning professionals to advance capabilities and sustain a world-class learning experience while supporting and accelerating learning across CPP Investments.
  • Partners to define and lead the execution of our learning strategy in partnership with our business partners, EDI, HRBPs and other COEs, to build a culture of growth and development, delivering innovative programs and strategies to engage and advance skills and competencies.
  • Defines and executes a robust needs analysis strategy that supports the design and delivery of programs and establishes measurement tools to track the success, using data to inform future programming and drive our organizational priorities forward.
  • Deploys a structure of learning modality (live and virtual, hybrid) and learning (synchronous and asynchronous, community) modes to incorporate on-the-job, formal and informal experiences, ensuring the suite of learning opportunities remains innovative, bold and agile meeting the emerging business needs and prepares employees for the future.
  • Provides learning consultancy and thought leadership to enhance business performance informed by best practices and emerging trends to continuously improve and optimize design, content, development tools and technologies to align with strategic objectives and future training needs.
  • Manages resources, efficient operations, budgets and identifies, negotiates procurement, and manages learning & development/vendors and providers.
  • Champion and advocate learning and leadership development and collaborate with others to support a continuous learning culture.

Qualifications

  • Deep experience developing large global scale learning and development programs for a professional organization.
  • Has demonstrable expertise in adult learning to drive strategies and innovative solutions to enhance competencies and capabilities.
  • A proven track record of delivering results in the learning space, driving behavioural change through a collaborative, inclusive style and process.
  • Able to lead and develop others in an ambiguous, constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral supporting (presenting, training, consulting, coaching) and influencing sr. leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation/influence skills to collaborate with internal team members within and outside of the organization to add value.
