Our client is a Hamilton-based, MECP-licensed processing and transfer station, providing safe and compliant disposal of collected liquids and semi-solid wastes from municipalities across Ontario. They are known for their commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and reliable service.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Dump Truck Driver to support daily operations on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week). This is a day-shift position with consistent hours, ideal for an experienced driver looking for steady, local work without long-haul travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials to and from the processing and transfer station
- Load, haul, and unload materials in accordance with company and MECP regulations
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation as required
- Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and environmental guidelines
- Work closely with site staff to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Keep vehicle clean and in good working condition
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license (DZ preferred unless otherwise specified)
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience operating a dump truck or similar commercial vehicle
- Knowledge of safe loading, hauling, and dumping procedures
- Ability to work outdoors and perform light physical duties as required
- Strong awareness of safety practices and environmental compliance
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
