The Faculty of Education invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Educational Foundations or a related field. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality preservice teacher preparation by teaching and developing undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising practicum and graduate research, and engaging in original research and professional activities that advance educational scholarship. Applicants should bring historical, philosophical, and/or sociological perspectives to their teaching and research and define their scholarship through a disciplinary lens in education. A doctorate in Educational Foundations or a related field is required; candidates nearing completion will be considered. Preferred expertise includes the history, philosophy, ethics, or sociology of Canadian education, youth, or schooling. Experience in multiple teaching formats, including online, blended, and face-to-face, and the integration of innovative technologies is an asset.
