Diversified Staffing Services, a leading Staffing Agency in Alberta, is currently seeking an Intermediate Electrical & Controls Engineer. Our client, located in SE Calgary, is adding to their team.DescriptionThe Role:

• Working with a Team on Multi-Disciplinary Engineering Design Projects
• Researching, Developing, Designing and Testing Equipment, Facilities, Components and Systems
• Assisting with Creating Engineering Standards, Processes and Procedures
• Field Visits and Assessments
• Mentoring Junior Staff

• A minimum 5 years’ experience in Electrical and Controls Engineering
• An Electrical Engineering Degree
• A P. Eng. Designation
• A background in Oil & Gas; specifically Brownfield and Retrofit Sites
• Experience with Switchgears, MCCs and Electrical calculations
• An understanding of Arc & Flash Studies, Fugitive Emission Studies, and Control System Design
• Outstanding Communication and Interpersonal skills
• A satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and the ability to travel to Client Sites
