Salary: $95,000- $110,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer to join our clients engineering team. This role involves a Degree or Diploma preferred as well as min. 5 years’ experience in the Control Systems, Automation and Robotics industry. They are the leading supplier of custom automation, material handling and robotic systems in the automotive industries.

Position will require some traveling. (Canada US and Mexico) Valid passport and driver license is required

Requirements

You will be part of the Electrical design / estimating department, implement standards, develop, and expand on the current library.

Electrical Design:

• Responsible for the design of Electrical systems and devices
• Design of machine control software and the programming of automation systems
• Developing and maintaining custom and standard designs
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals
• Developing new standards and equipment
• Programming a combination of various automation technologies (robots, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, etc.) into highly integrated systems

Project Management

• Assist Developing timelines and schedule for projects with other departments.
• Assist in keeping timelines for projects with production and purchasing.
• Onsite customer meetings
• Working with Microsoft project and excel for scheduling.
