Job Title: Electrical Design EngineerJob DescriptionActalent, a global leader in engineering services solutions, seeks to expand its presence within the aerospace and aviation industries by hiring a team of Aircraft Designers to support various customer projects. This team will focus on modifying and upgrading aircraft interiors. These hires will be eligible for our enhanced benefits package for full-time consultants and will be crucial contributors to our growth across Canada.Hard Skills

• 10+ years of experience with the design modifications and upgrades to aircraft interiors
• Work with lighting, passenger audio/visual systems, communication systems, electrical power, and electronic systems integration
• Interface with wiring design and installation engineers
• Provide engineering solutions for Customer Support Service Requests related to modifications
• Produce wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and harness data reports from schematics
• Analyze and improve existing wiring diagrams, harness data reports, and routing maps
• Generate installation design and 2D drawings using Catia
• Assist in developing manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures
• Support system development from concept design to production
• Prepare reports and certification documents for aircraft modification
• Present technical information, modification engineering, and project status to the lead
• Perform effective record-keeping in line with policies and procedures
