Email Marketing Specialist

What you’ll doReporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Email Marketing Advisor will work cross functionally with the strategy, promotion, marketing, and ecommerce teams to build and execute email marketing campaigns that support business objectives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning of the email program, executing strategic initiatives, integrating with internal groups, and reporting on campaign results.Manage email campaigns, including the template layout, calls-to-action, and contentWork to minimize unsubscribes while increasing the productivity of email sendsEnd-to-end campaign planning inclusive of strategic marketing and promotional initiatives in emailDevelop strategies to improve email engagement rates through automation, segmentation, personalization, and contentMaintain daily contact with internal stakeholders for weekly campaignsAnalysis and reporting on campaign results, and recommendations for future improvementsProactively report on email marketing trends to provide innovative email channel recommendationsWhat you bringPost-secondary education or related experience in Marketing, Business or Finance1-3 years’ experience working with email marketing campaignsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects and prioritiesRetail experience is an assetSalesforce experience is an assetProficiency using Google Analytics 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office a mustA great attention to detail and accuracyAgency background or in-house experience in digital marketing or eCommerce environment is an assetCreativity and a courageous mindset, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environmentAction oriented and comfortable taking calculated risks to better serve our customers and businessOutcome focused, critical thinkers with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire businessCollaborative team players with influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forwardHybridAt Canadian Tire we value flexibility.
