We are looking for a Enterprise Architect for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Hybrid schedule, at least 3 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.Role Description
The Enterprise Architect role is a business and strategic focused thought leader and trusted advisor. This position’s portfolio is critical to ensuring initiatives align and move forward with an enterprise level technology. This role will leverage a solid understanding of business goals and capabilities, infrastructure, information, and application environments in conjunction with the Core Enterprise Architecture team, to facilitate the identification and promotion of initiatives that will support and enable business transformation initiatives.Responsibilities
The Enterprise Architect creates or arranges the creation of reusable business design components including:

  • An executive view of the enterprise and is used to design, renew, or transform the value chain network. It looks at the enterprise within its context and sets the internal context for project / initiative architectures. Solution architecture is not involved.
  • Responsible for Project / initiative architecture, aimed at part of the enterprise, and is used to design, renew, or transform a line of business or program area operationally. It involves all architecture domains and solution architecture.
  • Lead Business transformation implementation strategy / plan and complete assessments
  • Create architectural roadmaps to showcase how technology solutions will meet business needs
  • Oversee the design and integration of IT solutions to address business needs
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives align with the business objectives
  • Oversee the design and integration of software applications
  • Ensure security protocols are put in place
  • Reports on future recommendations (including budgetary information)
  • Contribute to concept, methodology, component definition, improvement
  • Contribute to documenting the current business and ICT environment and future architecture strategy (1-5 years)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
  • TOGAF certification is required
  • Experience with Architectural Frameworks: Hands-on experience applying industry frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or other architecture standards
  • Other professional certifications are a strong asset
