What you can expect to do here:

Assist with the implementation of various environmental field programs.
-
Inspect, monitor, and conduct environmental field activities, including water management, erosion and sediment control, dust management, noise monitoring, environmental sample collection (soil, water), and environmental emergency response (spills).

Create daily dust management plans, daily dust logs, daily environmental inspection logs, maintain a key environmental issues tracking log, and handle spill reporting.

Record key environmental field data.

Occasionally assist with ESC installation, replace dust station batteries, move environmental monitoring equipment, and respond to spills.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Lead/Environmental Manager.
What you’ll bring to WSP:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related fields (preferred) or a college diploma/certificate in environmental science with the right skillset.
-
You can multitask and prioritize evolving requirements for multiple ongoing projects.
-
You are capable of working in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
-
You have demonstrated technical writing and critical thinking skills.
-
You are team-oriented and possess strong communication skills.
-
You pay attention to detail.
-
You have experience in the nuclear or construction/remediation-based sector (considered an asset).

You are proficient with MS Word, Excel, and all programs under MS Office.

You are familiar with ISO 9001.

You are eligible for reliability status security clearance.

You hold a valid G driver’s license.
